The ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag is ideal for small to medium businesses (40-100 employees) that require basic wireless connectivity for clients using 802.11a, b, or g, using an access point that is easily installed and requiring minimal management. Q: Where can the ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag be deployed? For ease of deployment, the AP 10ag can be wall mounted or placed on a flat surface. However, the device is not plenum-rated. Q: Can the ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag be managed by ProCurve Manager? ProCurve Manager discovers and maps the AP 10ag and provides access to its web management interface. However, the AP cannot be integrated into PCM policy solutions. Q: How do I establish a console session on the ProCurve Wireless Access Point 10ag? The AP 10ag includes one 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port and uses a web managed interface for setup and configuration. To access the interface, connect to the AP using a computer with an address in the range of 192.168.1.0/24. The computer and the AP can be connected directly using the supplied Ethernet cable or can be connected through a switch or hub.
